Projects

California Academy of Sciences, USA

The California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco was rebuilt and opened in September 2008. American Sealants Inc. had the distinct honor of being selected to assist with the massive project. Construction began on the building in September 2005 with a cost of $500 million. The seven aquarium exhibits range from 16,000 to 212,000 gallons.

American Sealants Inc. was featured as part of the Discovery Channel’s Extreme Engineering in 2009 for this project. The largest panel to installed had a fish eye shape, to date it was the largest and oddest shaped acrylic panel. The experts were called in to make sure the job was done right the first time.
