African Penguin Point, Cincinnati Zoo
With clients such as SeaWorld, Disney, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, it was a no brainer for the Cincinnati Zoo to choose ASI to supply and install their amazing new expansion for the Little Blue Penguin (also known as the “fairy” penguins) in the new Roo Valley expansion at their facility. The zoo also expanded their African Penguin habitat now known as African Penguin Point and had ASI supply and install the acrylic windows. Not only are the views that are provided to the public of these amazing penguins in their brand-new habitat, but there is also amazing research being done on the swimming patterns and sleeping patterns of the penguins in their habitats with state-of-the-art RFID monitoring equipment and sensors in the exhibit. For the patrons, it brings an experience like no other and will create memories for a lifetime and for the scientists it allows them to make sure the habitat promotes natural behaviors and optimal health and well-being for the penguins.
