Phoenician Pool Construction

This residential acrylic pool window is actually three pieces of acrylic bonded together to create a cantilevered pool that extends out over the hillside. American Sealants Inc. installed the panel with a crane, lifting it over the top of the house and sealing it once it was set. Adding one more piece to a beautiful home in Phoenix, Arizona.

American Sealants Inc. (ASI) is known worldwide for its acrylic supply, installation, maintenance, and repair of aquarium and zoological exhibits, water features, pools, and hot tubs — trusted by SeaWorld, Disney, and more than 100 zoos, aquariums, and theme parks worldwide. When homeowners in Phoenix, Arizona, set out to build a pool that cantilevers over the hillside behind their home, they brought in ASI to fabricate and install the centerpiece: a single acrylic viewing window made from three bonded acrylic pieces.

Getting a panel that size onto a hillside site meant there was no ground-level path in — so ASI installed it by crane, lifting the panel directly over the top of the house before setting it into place and sealing it.

The result is a seamless acrylic window that lets the homeowners look straight out over the hillside from inside their own pool — one more custom piece added to a home built to take advantage of its setting.

As with every ASI project, the goal was a seamless, crystal-clear result built to last — the same standard the company brings to its work with SeaWorld, Disney, and over 100 zoos and aquariums worldwide.
