Sea Life – Merlin Entertainments

Merlin Entertainments had six acrylic panels requiring refurbishment and installation. American Sealants Inc. got the job done.

SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium occupies 35,000 square feet inside Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, home to more than 250 species and 2,000 creatures, including sharks, rays, and green sea turtles. Its centerpiece is the Tropical Ocean Exhibit — a 120,000-gallon tank viewed through a 180-degree walk-through underwater tunnel — where guests pass beneath blacknose and bonnethead sharks, a nurse shark named Florence, and a shoaling ring of pilchard fish, and where dive teams go in weekly to keep the acrylic clear.

As with every ASI project, the goal was a seamless, crystal-clear result built to last — the same standard the company brings to its work with SeaWorld, Disney, and over 100 zoos and aquariums worldwide.
